1977 Porsche 911S Targa 5-Speed - SOLD

This 1977 Porsche 911S Targa underwent approximately $45k of work by S Car Go Racing of San Rafael, California, in 2024, including a rebuild of the 2.7-liter flat-six, an overhaul of the five-speed manual transaxle, and installation of Turbo tie rods and braided stainless-steel brake lines, as well as replacement of the clutch, fuel pump, spark plugs, shocks, tires, and suspension bushings. The car is finished in Oak Green Metallic over Cork leatherette upholstery and equipment includes 15″ Fuchs alloy wheels, a black removable roof panel, a black Targa bar, body-color bumpers, front bucket seats, power windows, and a heated rear window. This mid-year 911 was acquired by the current owner in 2026 and is now offered on their behalf by the seller with the owner’s manual, service records, and a clean California title.

The car was finished from the factory in Oak Green Metallic with a black removable roof panel, a black Targa bar, body-color headlight trim rings, and body-color impact bumpers.

The 15″ silver and black Fuchs forged alloy wheels were mounted with 205/60 Ironman Imove Gen 2 tires in 2024. A space-saver spare is stored in the front trunk. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated disc brakes. Braided stainless-steel brake lines, Turbo tie rods, and Bilstein shocks, were installed by S Car Go Racing in 2024, and additional work included replacing the control arm bushings and sway bar bushings.

Cork leatherette upholstery covers the front bucket seats, folding rear seats, and side panels. Appointments include power windows, an analog clock, a Blaupunkt AM/FM/cassette stereo, a Blaupunkt amplifier in the front trunk, ADS speakers in the doors, a Clifford alarm system, and a heated rear window.

The leather-covered three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of VDO instrumentation that consists of a 150-mph speedometer, a centrally mounted tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, oil level, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 105k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership.

The 2.7-liter flat-six features Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and was rebuilt by S Car Go Racing in 2024.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle, which was fitted with two replacement synchro rings and one dog ring during an overhaul in 2024.
