1979 Porsche 911SC Targa - SOLD

This 1979 Porsche 911SC Targa was delivered to its first owner in Germany as a part of the Tourist Delivery Program, and it is said to have sole registration history in California through the current owner’s March 2007 purchase. The car shows 66k miles and is powered by a 3.0-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Finished in Grand Prix White over Lobster leather, it is equipped with 16″ Fuchs alloy wheels, a removable roof panel, fog lights, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, air conditioning, power windows, a short shifter, and an Alpine head unit.

The car is finished in Grand Prix White and features a removable Targa roof panel, a black Targa bar, fog lights, dual side mirrors, and rear bumperettes.

The 16″ Fuchs wheels feature black centers and are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes with ventilated rotors.

The six-digit odometer shows 66k miles, approximately 10k of which were added under current ownership.

The 3.0-liter flat-six features Bosch fuel injection and was factory rated at 172 horsepower and 189 lb-ft of torque.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Type 915 five-speed manual transaxle.
