1985 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet - SOLD
This 1985 Porsche 911 Carrera cabriolet is said to have remained under original ownership in Texas and Nebraska until it was acquired by the current owner in 1992, and it has been retrofitted with a Turbo-style widebody conversion and a leather-wrapped MOMO steering wheel. Powered by a 3.2-liter flat-six paired with a 915 five-speed manual transaxle, the car is finished in White Gold Metallic over Cadbury Brown leather. It has 16″ Fuchs alloy wheels with body-color centers as well as a brown soft top, a rear spoiler, fog lights, aftermarket stainless-steel exhaust components, a CD stereo, and air conditioning. Work performed between 2024 and 2026 included an oil change, repainting the rocker panels, and replacing the frunk and engine cover struts, steering column bushing, top latches, and assorted fuel delivery components.
The car is finished in White Gold Metallic, and it has been retrofitted with flared fenders with rear straked inlets as well as a Carrera tail rear spoiler and a revised front valance. Additional appointments include a brown soft top, a top boot, fog lights, and heated power-adjustable side mirrors. The cabin features front seats upholstered in Cadbury Brown leather, along with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a CD stereo, air conditioning, cruise control, and power windows and locks. The left armrest cover latch and the soft top latches were replaced in 2024. The leather-wrapped MOMO steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline as well as a 170-mph speedometer, a Quarz clock, and gauges for oil level, oil pressure, oil temperature, and fuel level. A Beltronics Micro Eye radar detector is mounted between the speedometer and clock. The six-digit odometer shows 76k miles.
The 3.2-liter M930/21 flat-six was factory rated at 202 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque. Service in March 2026 consisted of an oil change and replacing the fuel pressure damper, pressure regulator, pump, and assorted fuel lines.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Type 915 five-speed manual transaxle. Aftermarket stainless-steel exhaust components were installed in 2024.
