1986 Mercedes Benz 190E - SOLD
This 1986 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.3-16 is powered by a 2.3-liter inline-four paired with a dogleg five-speed manual transmission and is finished in Blue Black Metallic over black leather upholstery. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, a self-leveling suspension, 15″ Gullideckel alloy wheels, an electric sunroof, power-adjustable front seats, cruise control, and automatic climate control. The current owner acquired the car in 2020 and has since added approximately 5k of the 80k miles shown.
The car is finished in Blue Black Metallic (199) and features an electric sunroof, a rear spoiler, and asymmetrical side mirrors. A replacement antenna has been fitted in January 2023, per the seller. The left-front door is said to have been refinished under prior ownership, and damage to the front is noted in an August 2011 entry of the Carfax report.
The 15″ Gullideckel alloy wheels wear 205/55 Kumho Ecsta 4X tires, which were reportedly mounted in preparation for the sale. A spare is located in the trunk. An adjustable self-leveling suspension was equipped from the factory, and braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs with ABS.
The cabin features power-adjustable bolstered front sport seats upholstered in black leather along with a color-coordinated dash, door panels, and carpets. Mercedes-Benz-branded floor mats line the footwells, and additional appointments include wood trim, a cassette stereo, cruise control, a driver-side airbag, cruise control, and automatic climate control.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and instant fuel economy. Auxiliary gauges located in the center stack display oil temperature and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 80k miles.
The 2.3-liter M102 inline-four was designed in collaboration with Cosworth and was factory rated at 167 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Getrag five-speed manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential.
