1992 Suzuki Jimny Turbo 4X4 5-Speed - SOLD

This 1992 Suzuki Jimny hardtop was modified before the current owner’s acquisition in 2025 and subsequent importation to the US. The turbocharged 657cc inline-three was altered with a Mitsubishi Heavy Industries MHI-TD04 turbocharger, an aftermarket air intake and blow-off valve, and a Jimken Tac exhaust system, while the truck rides on 16″ Jimken Tac wheels and a lift kit. A matte black wrap was applied to the blue-finished body panels, which are accented by a roof rack, aftermarket lighting, and a rear ladder, and the cabin houses a Recaro driver’s seat, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and a Kenwood stereo. Shifting is through a five-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case.

The truck left the factory finished in Deep Blue Pearl, and a matte black vinyl wrap and red and silver graphics were applied to the body panels. Exterior details include checker-plate trim, LED headlights and taillights, fog lights, revised front and rear bumpers, a hood scoop, window visors, wheel arch extensions, a roof rack, a side-hinged rear door, a receiver hitch, and a rear ladder.

Jimken Tac 16″ Hard Tackle wheels were mounted with Deestone D-Trac 506 tires in April 2025, at which time two tire tubes were replaced. A lift kit has been installed, and the shocks were replaced in July 2025. The truck is equipped with manually locking front Aisin hubs, and stopping power is provided by front discs and rear drums.

The Recaro driver’s seat is trimmed in black cloth with patterned inserts and is joined by a front bucket seat and a rear bench. Interior equipment includes an aftermarket glovebox door, shift knob, door pulls, and dashboard trim along with toggle switches, air conditioning, and a Kenwood stereo.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel has a Jimny-branded horn button and frames fabricated column trim as well as replacement instrumentation including a 160-km/h speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. A Juran Racing boost pressure readout is housed in the dashboard.

The turbocharged 657cc inline-three is said to have been modified with a Mitsubishi Heavy Industries MHI-TD04 turbocharger as well as an aftermarket air intake, blow-off valve, hoses, and an exhaust system linked to a Jimken Tac muffler.

Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. A stainless steel Jimken Tac skid plate protects the fuel tank.
