1934 Chevrolet Standard Sedan
This 1934 Chevrolet Standard was built into a hot rod by a previous owner, and it is now powered by a 305ci Chevy V8 linked to a three-speed automatic and a Ford rear end. The car has a Heidts Super Ride front end, power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, 15″ alloy wheels, fender-mounted spares, a covered trunk, and auxiliary lights, and inside is a Grant steering wheel, a tilt column, air conditioning, and VDO instruments. Part of the Stone Collection.
The seller tells us that the body and fenders are both steel, and covered spares and cowl lights are mounted either side. The trunk out back is also covered, and dual driving lights are mounted on the chrome front bumper.
A Heidts Super Ride front end was installed along with four-wheel disc brakes and a dual-circuit master cylinder with a booster. The independent front end features rack-and-pinion steering, and parallel leaf springs are fitted out back. The 15″ MB Motoring alloys have 205/65 Mohave tires mounted.
The customized cabin features bucket seats with button-tufted upholstery, a CB mounted below the dashboard, foot rests and suicide doors for the rear passengers, a rear window shade, air conditioning, and a Panasonic head unit.
A Grant GT wheel, a tilt column, and VDO gauges were also used in the build. The current owner has added ~500 of the 3,300 indicated miles.
The 305ci Chevrolet V8 is topped by an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and mesh air filter, and it also has finned-aluminum valve covers and Sanderson-style cast manifolds.
Per the seller, a Turbo 350 automatic was also installed and linked to the Ford rear end.
