1986 Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe - SOLD
This 1986 Porsche 911 Turbo coupe has a black-upholstered cabin with sport seats and Sonderwunsch-style details that include under-dash cassette-tape storage, a Porsche crest on the glovebox door, and a special center console with auxiliary gauges. The turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six has been fitted with a revised intake, an Andial Racing intercooler, and an aftermarket exhaust setup, and additional highlights include a revised lower-front valance, modular BBS wheels, Elephant Racing suspension components, red-finished brake calipers, drilled aluminum pedals, a JWest Engineering RennShift assembly, and a 930S-style steering wheel. The car was refinished in black about four years ago. This 930 Turbo coupe shows 102k miles and is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with a clean Carfax report and a clean California title in the owner’s name.
The car was refinished in black in August 2022, and it has a revised lower-front valance, a tea-tray rear spoiler, a rear-window wiper, fog lamps, a sunroof, and rear-fender stone guards.
Modular 16″ BBS wheels have gold centers and bright lips. The Toyo Proxes RA1 tires measure 225/50 up front and 255/50 out back. Porsche-script brake calipers are finished in red, and Elephant Racing suspension components were installed in May 2022 to achieve a reduction in ride height.
Trimmed in black, the cabin features leather-upholstered sport seats as well as Sonderwunsch-style details including under-dash cassette-tape storage, a Porsche crest on the glovebox door, and a special center console with auxiliary gauges. A Blaupunkt Bremen digital radio has been added along with drilled aluminum pedals, and a bezel-secured phone mount. Additional features include air conditioning and power windows, and a MOMO knob sits atop a JWest Engineering RennShift mechanism.
The 930S-style steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,700-rpm redline as well as a 170-mph speedometer and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, fuel level, and boost pressure. A VDO Tell-Tale boost-pressure gauge replaces the clock, which is included in the sale. The six-digit odometer shows 102k miles, approximately 6k of which were added under current ownership.
The turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six has been fitted with an Andial Racing intercooler, a revised intake assembly, and a performance-tuned exhaust system. The engine mounts were replaced in May 2022. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
